Hi,

I just received my X-200 Hole Pro hole cutter. The Tungsten Carbide blades are already in the cutter. When should I use these blades versus the High Speed Steel blades?

Thanks

The suggested blade type to use for a specific job/material follows:

High Speed Steel (BH-002): These are quality high speed steel blades that produce a fine kerf and are ideal for wood, MDF, most plastics, and acoustic ceiling tile.

Tungsten Carbide (BT-002): These blades have a tungsten carbide tip for longer life. Suitable for wood, plywood, OSB, fiber-cement board, Hardi board, lathe & plaster, fiberglass, aluminum and brass sheet, and some plastics.
